Tomorrow the majority of us, are going to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends. Is this day more than football, turkey, macaroni & cheese, and family reunions? Thanksgiving is the perfect day to express our gratitude and especially to God. To make the most of this celebration and add more meaning to it, here is a Thanksgiving tradition that we found and wanted to share with you.

We encourage you to do this activity at dinner time. It will be a good reminder of the many blessings you have been blessed this year and share the testimonies of other family members. Powerful and moving time in sight!

Do you remember the excitement you shared with your partner when you first got together? Those butterfly feelings and the anticipation to see each other! This is what many couples long for after they have been in a relationship for an extended period. Some couples experience this excitement to fade as they become more comfortable around each other. The romance and excitement have likely faded due to the relationship being predictable and consistent. At the beginning of your relationship, you were in a constant state of learning, adapting to your partner, and creating a relationship. All of this was fun and new! But how do you keep that excitement and romance alive? Here are a few ways to keep the romance alive in your relationship! 1. We have all heard the importance of date nights and quality time. After more than 2 years of a long distance relationship, we decided that it was time to join the big leagues and get married! Couples around us celebrated our decision and felt compelled to give us some of their hard won marriage advice. Advice, as they said, that would help us to grow into a strong and power couple. Some of the advice went over our heads at the beginning, but now after 4 years of marriage we are able to see the positive impact their consul has had on us. Marriage advice for Sevie: Make sure that you build up your man up with your words. Do not cut your spouse down with the way…

Life can be hard on us men. Here are my Top 5 things to hit gathered from my own experience to help you positively deal with stress: Hit your sparring partner… We all have those days where something gets under our skin and where we are just on one. Instead of going home and laying into the wife and kids, bring that smoke to your sparring partner. He’s there in the dojo waiting for you and he can take it. Your attacks and your intensity help him with his training and the nice thing about it is the more you give the more you will receive. After all the yelling, hitting, kicking, grabbing, choking, slamming into the ground and having the same done to me I return home a mellowed out man. Sometimes I’m cut, sometimes I have a slight limp, sometimes I have the taste of blood in…

This year our we have had the joy of welcoming a little baby girl into our family. We already have a wonderful toddler son and now we feel truly blessed and complete to bring our new baby home. But as many of you may know during pregnancy you are bombarded with so many feelings, joy, excitation, fear, anxiety… I was joined at the hip with my son, he was almost always with me so naturally one of my main concerns was his future reaction when it would be time to bring our new baby home. How is he going to take it? Will he be jealous? Will he question the love we have for him? and the list went on. But thankfully I was pleasantly surprise by his reaction, by his strength, being away from Mommy for 3 days/nights ( I thank my parents and hubby for making a smooth stage),…
